This Rope Grab System from DBI-SALA contains everything you need to set up a mobile lifeline system for tower climbing and work at heights.

This hands-free mobile rope grab kit is part of a personal fall arrest or restraint system. It is used for vertical fall protection when workers are climbing, or on inclined surfaces such as roofs.

The 50 ft. Rope Grab System from DBI-SALA meets or exceeds all related OSHA and ANSI standards including the stringent ANSI Z 359.

There are numerous applications for this type of fall protection including tower climbing and stacking, inspection and maintenance, oil production, cellular tower work and more.

This all-in-one kit provides solid fall protection that will hold up well over the long haul. The rope grab is far better at smoothly following as you move and doesn’t bind or snag like rope grabs used to. The Tie-Off adapter gives you the flexibility to install this system anywhere there is adequate structural support. And the lanyard is only 3 ft. and doesn’t get in your way which is perfect for this type of set-up.

Once a suitable anchor point has been established and the rope deployed, remove the detent pin to open the hinge on the rope grab and insert the line. Replace the detent pin and connect the EZ Stop II Shock Absorbing Lanyard to the back of your harness and to the rope grab. The rope grab has a gravity latch that won’t allow you to install it upside down.

Once the Rope Grab System is installed, you can move freely within your work area (see attached Rope Grab System manual for correct deployment and range). With the system attached, you will be safe the entire vertical length of the lifeline.
